So we went to Wolf for Restaurant Week, and what a great experience it was! Read about it here. Simply because we went to Wolf, I am again reminded of why I'm so thankful to have the Missus as my wife.
1) She knows her food, she really does. She was aware of Restaurant Week, and she did the research and only wanted to try ONE restaurant during this promo period. One! And it had to be Wolf. Of course, this turned out to be a fantastic choice (see link above for review!).
2) Because we always do a thing where we don't order the same dishes so that we get to sample a wider variety of what a restaurant has to offer, I almost went for the second of two choices for mains that Wolf offered. And that was a Red Snapper. Ha. The Missus looked at my pathetic visage and said, "why don't we both get the Pork Chop - this is a restaurant known for their meat afterall". To which I agreed immediately and we went for one of each topping of sauce instead. =) Again, that rationale made so much sense, and because we both had one Mangalica Pork Chop to ourselves, we could both enjoy that meal, instead of having to grudgingly apportion the wonderful slab between two people.
