Happy 4th Anniversary!

Shermaine and I shared our 4th Anniversary today, the official one.

I brought her out to Ma Maison at Bugis for dinner and serenaded her with my first ever poem to her!

There are many things to celebrate this past year together. We've grown together as a couple and realised many new insights into things which we weren't privileged to as a result of seeing them as single people previously. Moving ahead, we're seeing a future together more and more, with the next step possibly within reach in due time!

I contributed a small sum to her new powerful Toshiba Qosmio F50, the rest of which she paid for, and she got me a "Pro-class" Nikko Subaru Impreza WRC 2002 radio-controlled car! Check out review here (exact same chassis, just different shell). She also got me a SPORK! Its a fork, spoon AND knife combined into 1 fully-usable utility - its my new office "tool"!

Here's to another great year ahead with Shermy!

The food at Ma Maison - taste-wise we thought it was a tad salty and were thankful for ordering a mix of different flavours. Otherwise, the Miyazaki/Ghibli-like atmosphere and window-side seat right in front of a sink/counter/hanging pots (not to mention the awesome view of a KTV across the road) offered a unique ambience in which to pretend we were back in Japan with.

When all the dishes have arrived, you are presented with this key which you have to bring to the cashier to pay with. Sherm took a rather nice shot of it, and hastily too!

Google Chrome - Google's Browser Project

Google will be launching a fresh new browser with innovations to improve popular browser architecture and processes today. This comes complete with downloadable comic to explain the differences. Take note, its only Beta right now, there will surely be some bugs to iron out before the launch version in time to come.

Please don't tout any Microsoft stuff. I'll go open-source (though Chrome isn't entirely so) anytime!
