Taxi Diary

I stumbled on this blog some days ago on facebook, I forgot who initially posted it, but I find its a very very intriguing read!

The author holds a PhD from Stanford but due to unknown reasons to even him, had his lab shut down and was unable to find another job. As a result, he turned to driving a taxi to survive. His honest, simple narratives cut through all the complexities of life and paint a very vivid picture of Singapore.

Go read a few entries, you'll be hooked I'm sure.

New Batgirl??

What happened to Cassandra Cain? She was the most exciting and Batman-esque Batgirl to grace the covers of DC till her sudden turning in the cape due to Batman's "dead" recent story arc.. She was interesting because she was Asian-American, she really rocked at martial arts, and her mask... was quite disturbing. Oh yea, and the thing about her, was that she didn't speak.. much.

I've seen Spoiler, she wasn't anything much, seeming to get everything wrong at times. Guess I gotta wait till the National Library updates their trade-paperbacks in order to keep updated..

How to Train Your Dragon

A movie I will surely watch! Ok, an animated CGI cartoon that I will surely watch..
