This is a great write-up on something I've always wanted to do to beat the rising costs of personal transport in Singapore - commuting via bicycle!
He goes quite in-depth, from the type of bicycle to use, to lights, to terrain and routes.
The big question for me was - what about inclement weather?
Mr Brown answers that as well. Use rain gear, and/or a folding bicycle to carry onto the MRT.
Definitely a possibility for me to try in the near future.

Think about it
This is something worth thinking about - "If the iPhone 3GS is so good, why does everyone want the new iPhone4"?
Here's a few I came up with:
- People want to differentiate themselves from every other uncle and auntie who has the 3GS.
- People are easily swayed by marketing and can't help but "want" the latest hot product from the best marketed brand.
- People just want the latest hot product on the market.
- People have self-esteem issues and need a "cool" product to make themselves feel better.
- Apple fan boys are generally Jobs-smacked, and obey the Word of Jobs.
ok, I admit, the iPhone 3GS is good. I love it actually. But why do I want a new phone too?
Here's an article from Tefibi on why the iPhone4 may not necessarily be the best buy.
